A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Blantyre.
On Sunday, October 27 at around 1.40am, 49-year-old Scott Kelly was found injured outside a property in Camelon Crescent.
Emergency services attended the scene and he was taken to Hairmyres Hospital but later died.
Police Scotland have confirmed the 36-year-old man arrested and charged is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday 1 November, 2019.
Detective Chief Inspector Grant Macleod, of the Major Investigation Team (West), said: “I would like to thank members of the local community who provided information which greatly assisted our investigation."
