Man, 36, arrested after daylight robbery at Partick church

A man has been arrested after it's claimed he robbed a church in Glasgow's west end.

Police raced to Partick South Church on Dumbarton Road at 2.30pm on Wednesday, December 29 after reports of a theft.

The 36-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He was been released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in the new yeasr.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft from Partick South Church on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow which occurred around 2.30pm on Wednesday, December 29.

"He has been released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.”
