A 35-year-old man is battling serious head and body injuries after an "industrial incident" at a Lady Bay property.

A large number of emergency services were seen in Mona Road, on June 19 at around 11am.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called shortly before 11am on Wednesday, June 19 after reports of a serious industrial incident at a domestic property on Mona Road in West Bridgford.

"A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital and he has suffered serious injuries to his body and head.

"The Health and Safety Executive has been informed and will work alongside police to understand the circumstances of the incident."

The Health and Safety Executive has said its investigation is ongoing and cannot comment further at this stage.

An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We received a call on June 19 from Nottinghamshire Police requesting our assistance at the scene of an incident.

"We sent an ambulance and other resources including members of our Hazardous Area Response Team. One patient was taken to Queen's Medical Centre by ambulance.”
