Man, 35, 'grows his wings' as brother pays touching tribute

A Runcorn man has paid tribute to his older brother following his death aged 35.

Semuel Mills, 31, said Steven Mills died on Tuesday, in a post shared with the ECHO on social media.

Semuel said Steven was well known and will be “sadly missed”, having “grown his wings”.

A picture issued by the family shows Steven relaxing at the beach holding a puppy.

In a short written tribute, Semuel said: “Lost my big bro on Tuesday Steven, he grown his wings and left us can't believe you have gone so soon and so young!

“You was always a fighter and always strong, was always there when we needed each other.

“We had always have each others' backs.

“You will be sadly missed by the mills crew, RIP my bro.

“We love and miss you bro so much.”

A well-wisher posting on social media said: “RIP Stevie G.”
