Man, 34, seriously injured after being hit by car at Barry supermarket car park

A 34-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in a supermarket car park in Barry .

South Wales Police said a blue Vauxhall Agila hit a pedestrian in the car park of Morrisons at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, July 9.

A 34-year-old man was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff for treatment.

His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage to contact them by calling 101 and quoting reference 1900249343 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
