A 34-year-old man has been arrested in west London on suspicion of funding terrorism.

The man was arrested at an address in west London as part of an ongoing investigation, Scotland Yard said.

He was taken to a south London police station on Thursday before being released under investigation.

“He was detained under PACE and taken to a south London police station before being released under investigation,” police said.

“A search was carried out at the west London address, which is now complete. Enquiries continue."

Officers previously arrested three other people - a 53-year-old woman, a 16-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman - on September 4 in connection with the investigation.

They were also arrested on suspicion of funding terrorism and were subsequently released under investigation.
