A man has been left fighting for his life after being attacked on New Year's Day.
The incident happened on Dodds Close, Wheatley Hill, County Durham, at around 10.30am on January 1.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries and remains in a critical condition.
Durham Constabulary is now for anyone who witnessed the attack to get in touch.
