(Picture: PA)A man has been killed after being hit by a car near the Elephant and Castle roundabout.
The victim, 33, was killed at the scene after being hit on the New Kent Road in Southwark at 5pm on Sunday.
The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries before being arrested in connection with the collision.
Police closed the road for several hours on Sunday night as they investigated the collision, causing significant tailbacks to motorists.

A Met Police spokesman said the car had also collided with “a number of other vehicles”.
