Man, 33, charged with drugs offences after PSNI raids

Police have charged a man with drugs offences following a number of raids this week.

Detectives from the PSNI Paramilitary Crime Task Force were involved in raids in West Belfast and Lurgan.

And this morning, Saturday, have charged a 33-year-old man with a number of drugs offences, including Possession of a Class A drug and Possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.

A PSNI spokeswoman said: "The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on 27th August.

"As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges follow proactive search operations in the Andersonstown area of west Belfast on Thursday, July 30, and in Lurgan yesterday, Friday, July, 31.
