The driver of a Ford Focus has been urged to get in touch with police after a 63-year-old cyclist suffered 'serious injuries.'
The cyclist was taken to hospital after an incident on July 1 involving a Ford Focus in the Catherine Street area of Widnes.
Police said the man suffered 'serious injuries' to his body after the incident which involved a Ford Focus. The man has since been discharged from hospital.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam or CCTV footage around the Lugsdale Road, Alforde Street, Lacey Street, Catherine Street and Victoria Road areas between 4pm and 5pm.
Detective Constable Emily Ascroft, of Widnes Local Policing Unit, said to the ECHO : “The cyclist sustained serious injuries that resulted in him being in hospital for a number of days.
“We have been following numerous enquiries to establish how he sustained his injuries and I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist the investigation.
“I am also asking people who may have dash cam or CCTV footage to get in touch. The vehicle involved is a dark grey or silver Ford Focus, five door hatchback, 2010 model. I would also urge the driver of the vehicle to make contact with police.”
