A man is set to appear in court after a pistol was found at the Stardust Memorial Park in Coolock.
The 31-year-old will appear on Monday morning before Dublin District Court in connection with the incident.
Gardai previously said they found a Beretta semi-automatic pistol and several rounds of ammunition at the site in north Dublin shortly after 9pm on Saturday, October 5.
And now officers have revealed that a man was arrested last Friday evening in relation with the incident and brought to Coolock garda station.
A garda spokesman said that he has since been charged in connection with the investigation and will appear in court on Monday.
