A man has been arrested in connection with the death of Alan Richie at a flat in the Carnwardric area of Glasgow.
A murder investigation was launched after the 61-year-old was violently attacked at his home on Kennishead Avenue on March 10.
Emergency services were called but Alan died a short time after they arrived.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, March 17.
