Man, 30s, suffers 'significant injuries' after being stabbed on busy Dublin street

A man in his 30s has been stabbed following an incident in north Dublin on Friday afternoon.

The man was attacked in the Amiens Street area shortly after 12:30pm.

He received significant injuries and was rushed to hospital where his condition is described as not life threatening.

A spokesman for the gardai confirmed the incident to Dublin Live and said investigations are ongoing.

He said: "Gardaí responded to a stabbing incident on Amiens Street, Dublin on Friday 18th October at approximately 12.38pm.

He added: "A male (30s) received injuries which are not life threatening. No arrests have been made at present. Investigation ongoing."
