A man in his 30s was stabbed multiple times during a serious early morning assault in North Dublin over the weekend, Dublin Live can exclusively reveal.
The victim received stab type wounds after he was viciously attacked by another man at 1:45am on Saturday.
He was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital where he is currently in a stable condition.
A Garda spokesperson told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating and alleged assault that occurred on the 1 February 2020 at approximately 1.45am.
"A man in his 30s received stab type wounds after he was allegedly assaulted by another male. He was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital in a stable condition.
"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
