A man has been rushed to hospital in critical condition following a serious workplace incident in Dublin Port.
The incident happened at around 10am this morning in a yard at the port.
The man, who is in his 30s, was found stuck between two pieces of equipment.
Dublin Live understands that CPR was carried out on the man who is believed to have been crushed by a forklift.
He was then rushed to the Mater Hospital in critical condition and gardai have confirmed they are investigating.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating a serious workplace incident that occurred today 30/9/19 at approximately 10am at a yard in the Dublin Port area.
"A man aged in his 30s was discovered stuck between two pieces of equipment. The man was taken to the Mater Hospital in a critical condition.
"Investigations are ongoing."
