Man, 30s, rushed to hospital following stabbing incident near St Stephen's Green, Dublin

A man was rushed to hospital following a stabbing incident in an early morning attack in Dublin city centre.

Dublin Live rports that the man, who is aged in his 30s, was brutally attacked near St Stephen's Green at around 4am receiving stab wounds to his arm and leg.

He was brought to St. James's Hospital but his injuries are said to be non-life threatening and is likely to be released later today.

A spokesman for gardai told the Irish Mirror that no arrests had been made and investigations were ongoing.

As a result, the scene has been sealed off with an examination imminent and commuters have been warned that the Luas Green Line service has been interrupted as a result.
