Man, 30s, in 'critical condition' following motorbike crash in Co. Kerry

A man has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision which happened in Co. Kerry on Wednesday afternoon.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses following the crash which involved a motorcycle and a car in the New Line Road area of Waterville, Co. Kerry at around 3.40pm yesterday.

The driver of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 30s, received serious injuries and was air lifted from the scene to Cork University Hospital.

Gardai say his condition is described as critical.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

A forensic examination of the scene has been carried out.

Gardai are appealing to any witnesses to the collision to contact them at Killarney Garda Station on 064 667 1160 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
