Man, 30s, hospitalised after early morning stabbing near St. Stephen's Green Park, Dublin on Friday with Luas services disrupted

A man was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in an early morning attack in Dublin city centre.

The man, in his 30s, was brutally attacked at around 4am receiving stab wounds to his arm and leg.

He was taken to St. James's Hospital but his injuries are said to be non-life threatening and is likely to be released later today.

A spokesman for gardai told Dublin Live that no arrests had been made and investigations were ongoing.

As a result, the scene has been sealed off with an examination imminent and commuters have been warned that the Luas Green Line service has been interrupted as a result.
