A man in his 30s has been arrested after gardai seized a massive haul of cannabis in Co. Sligo.
Gardai from Ballymote District and Sligo Divisional Drugs unit carried out the search at a property in Castle Burn, Ballymote on Thursday evening.
An estimated €100,000 worth of suspected cannabis and a sum of cash were lifted from the property during the search.
A garda spokesperson said: "A male in his 30s was arrested and was taken to Ballymote Garda station, where he is currently detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996."
"He remains in custody and investigations are ongoing."
