Police were called to Govan last night (Sunday) amid reports of an assault on a 30-year-old man.
As reported on Glasgow Live, Drive Road was on lockdown from around 6pm with officers putting a cordon in place to deal with an ‘ongoing incident’.
Today, a Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed that a 30-year-old was injured, although the incident was labelled ‘minor’.
She told Glasgow Live: “Officers were called to reports of a minor assault on Drive Road, Govan, around 4.40pm on Sunday, 29 December 2019.
“A 30-year-old man sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
“Enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.”
