Man, 30, fatally shot in suburban Rolling Meadows

A 30-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday in north suburban Rolling Meadows.

About 5 a.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Kirchoff Road for reports of shots fired and found the man with a gunshot wound to his chest, Rolling Meadows said.

He was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, where he was pronounced dead.

Rolling Meadows detectives are questioning “persons of interest,” police said.
