Man, 29, seriously injured after falling from window of Drumchapel high-rise

A man has been seriously injured after falling from a high-rise flat in Drumchapel.

Emergency services raced to the scene on Linkwood Crescent at 7.20pm on Monday after receiving calls about the incident.

A 29-year-old man was found injured after falling from a first-floor window at the property.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.

We reported how four police cars and an ambulance were spotted on the scene after the incident unfolded.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.20pm on Monday, 3 May, a 29-year-old man was injured after falling from a first floor window at a property in Linkwood Crescent, Drumchapel.

"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident."
