An inquest into his death was opened at Swansea 's Guildhall.

It was told there were no suspicious circumstances surround the death of Mr Davies, of Glyn Street in Port Talbot.

A post-mortem had concluded his death to be "consistent with immersion in water".

The hearing was told toxicology and histology results were pending.

The inquest was adjourned until a full hearing later this year.
