Man, 28, missing from Austin

Chicago police are asking for help locating a 28-year-old man who went missing from Austin on the West Side.

Kawame Jaco was last seen Aug. 2 in the 5500 block of West Ohio Street, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police. He likes to ride trains and is known to frequent the downtown area.

Jaco, who may be in need of medical attention, is described by police as being 5-feet-8, 185 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a medium-brown complexion.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8266.
