A 28-year-old man has died after emergency services were called to an address in the Hengoed area, police said. The alarm was raised at 8.50am on Sunday (May 8).
Gwent Police said that they were called to reports of a "medical emergency" at a house on Grey Crescent, Tir-y-Berth, near Hengoed.
Officers attended, along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service, who confirmed that a 28-year-old man had died.
A police spokesman said: "His next of kin have been informed."
He added that the death is "not being treated as suspicious" and a report has been submitted to the coroner in relation to the death.
