Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following a serious assault in the Larkhall area.
The incident happened around 7.25pm on Tuesday, March 16, in Glen Avenue.
A 27-year-old man suffered serious injury following reports of a disturbance involving an unknown number of people.
He was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment where he remains in a stable condition.

A description of anyone responsible is not known at this time, but there were reports of several people in the area all in their late twenties.
Detective Constable Debbie Walker of Lanarkshire CID said: “This incident has resulted in the serious injury of man and we are keen to establish what happened and trace those responsible as soon as possible.
“We believe there were a number of people in the area at the time of the assault and we are keen to talk to anyone who might have seen anything.”
