Man, 27, fighting for life after group of men brutally beat him in KFC

A 27-year-old man is fighting for his life after being attacked by a group of up to seven men in a KFC.

Police found the injured victim in the toilets of the fast food branch in the Stacey Bushes Trading Centre, Milton Keynes, after being called to the incident last night.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition with multiple fractures to his face and head.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the assault at around 11.40pm last night.

It is being investigated as an incident of grievous bodily harm.

Detectives are asking anyone with mobile phone footage of what happened to come forward.

The incident happened in the KFC at the Stacey Bushes Trading Centre, Milton Keynes (Google Streetview)

Investigating officer Detective Constable Hollie Cromarty, of Force CID based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are investigating this as an incident of grievous bodily harm, and are appealing for anybody who witnessed the altercation to make contact with police.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who can help in identifying the offenders or who may have mobile phone footage of the incident, and from anybody who was in the area in the time leading up to the assault that may have information.

“The victim’s next of kin have been made aware, and the victim is being treated for serious injuries in hospital.

“I am urging anybody who has any information to call the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 43190158046.

“Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or make a report  online .”
