Man, 27, arrested in connection with death of Omer Sadiq in Glasgow

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of Omer Sadiq in Glasgow two weeks ago.

The 32-year-old was found seriously injured on Boydstone Road near Silverburn Shopping Centre around 1.25pm on Tuesday, 15 September.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.

The 27-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Friday).

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
