A man was arrested and locked up for throwing a corn on cob at his mother during a late night argument.
The incident between Cody Cummins, 27, and his mum happened at their home in Tampa Bay, Florida, over the weekend.
It is believed he launched the cob at his mum at around 2am and then left the scene when she called police.
Cummins was eventually tracked down and arrested.
He was charged with domestic battery and thrown in jail on a $150 (£118) bond. He has since been released.
According to an official arrest report, his mother had a very sore head but was not seriously injured.
Cummins was first arrested in 2014 at the age of 22.
He has since been detained another five times.
It is not yet known what started the argument between the chef and his mother.
Cummins' case is the second shockingly-bizarre story to come out of Florida in recent days.
