Man, 27, arrested following three-car crash on M8

A man has been arrested following with a three-car crash on the M8 motorway.

The 27-year-old is being held in connection with road traffic offences after the incident at around 10:25am on the M8 near Junction 13 Provan Interchange.

Police and fire crews raced to the scene and closed two lanes of the motorway eastbound, causing delays for motorists.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences following a 3 car crash on the M8 near Junction 13, at around 10.25am on Saturday 22 May. Enquiries are continuing.”
