A man was taken to hospital after being hit by a lorry in Wigan.
The crash happened on Mealhouse Lane, in Atherton, at around 2.40pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Police said they were called to reports of a collision between a man and a lorry.
The casualty, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital from the scene with serious injuries.

He remains there in a serious condition.
No arrests have been made, police said, and an investigation is ongoing.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Around 2.40pm on Wednesday 5 January 2022, police were called to reports of a collision between a man and a lorry on Mealhouse Lane, Atherton.
"Emergency services attended and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a serious condition.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information, CCTV or Dash-cam footage should contact the Road Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident number 1518 of 5/1/2022.
"Reports can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
