Man, 25, arrested after teen subjected to serious sexual assault in Bothwell

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after a teenager was subjected to a serious sexual assault in Bothwell.

The incident took place between 5.45pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, 20 May, when a teenage girl was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her in woodland near the Clyde Walkway.

Police confirm the arrest and said enquiries remain ongoing.
