A 24-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including assault, assault on police, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
It follows an incident at a Belfast student block on Saturday evening.
A PSNI spokesman said officers were called to the accommodation site in the College Green area of Belfast city centre at around 5.30pm.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday 30th December.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
