A 24-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged sexual assault of two teenage girls in the city centre .
A 14-year-old girl was attacked on Buchanan Street, near to Sauchiehall Street, and sexually assaulted her by touching her bottom on Monday (July 1).
Another 18-year-old woman was later groped on an escalator in Buchanan Galleries on the same day.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged after two teenage girls were allegedly sexually assaulted in separate incidents in Glasgow City Centre on Monday 1 July 2019.
"The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday (July 4).
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
