Man shot by University of Chicago cop last year missing from Irving Park located

A man who was shot by University of Chicago campus police last year had been reported missing from the Northwest Side but has since been located.

Charles “Soji” Thomas, 23, was last seen Sept. 5 leaving his home in the 3800 block of North Springfield Avenue, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

Police canceled the alert about 2:55 p.m. Thursday, stating Thomas had been located.
