A man has been found dead in a block of flats in Stalybridge.
Police were alerted to concerns for the welfare of a man at a property in Thompson Court at around 3.45pm on Tuesday.
When police officers arrived, they discovered the body of a 23-year-old man.

Greater Manchester Police are investigating the circumstances of the man's death.
A post-mortem is due to take place tomorrow (July 7).

A GMP spokesperson said: "At about 3.45pm, officers were called to an address at Thompson Court, Thompson Fold, Stalybridge, over concerns for the welfare of a man.
"Paramedics also attended but sadly, on arrival, found the body of a 23-year-old man.
"Police are investigating the circumstances into the man's death and there will be a post-mortem on 7 July 2021."
