A 22-year-old man was shot in the head and killed during a robbery Wednesday evening in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood, police said.
The shooting happened about 6:05 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Pulaski, according to Chicago police.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition and later pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office didn’t immediately release information about the death.
Area North detectives are investigating.
