Man, 22, not seen in days as police concern grows

Police are growing increasingly concerned as a young man has not been seen in five days.

Matthew Dutton, 22, was last seen on Belle Green Lane, in Ince, Wigan, at around 10pm on Sunday 23 August 2020.

His disappearance is said to be "out of character".

Posting on Twitter, Wigan Wolves, said: "One of our lads has not been seen since Sunday night and this is completely out of character.

"His family are extremely worried."

Matthew was last seen wearing a dark blue "kenzo" top with a tiger on the front and bright blue shorts with black trainers, the Manchester Evening News reported.

Officers say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about him and want to make sure he is safe and well.

Greater Manchester Police have now released an image of Matthew and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Anyone who may be able to assist is urged to contact police on 0161 856 1830.

Reports can also be made anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
