A 22-year-old man found with a "considerable amount" of cocaine has been put behind bars.

Keiran Size, 22, of Kimberley Drive, Crosby, was arrested twice earlier in the year as part of an ongoing operation targeting gangs in South Sefton.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Size was arrested twice earlier in the year by our Operation Pelican team, during these arrests a considerable amount of cocaine was taken from the streets, this was along with the seizure of large sums of cash gained from criminal activity."

"Officers will continue their relentless efforts in making the area a safer place."

High-profile Operation Pelican seizures and raids have included the recovery of up to £30,000 in cash in a home in Crosby, and separate £10,000 cash hauls in Bootle and Lydiate.

A Waterloo pub, where police seized drugs and £45,000 in cash, could close for good.
