A MAN has been hit by a car during a 'targeted incident' on a busy Glasgow road.
Police swarmed Ashgill Road in the north of the city after being alerted to a disturbance involving three motorists and a pedestrian on Monday.
Officers were called to the incident shortly before 7pm.
During the disturbance, the 22-year-old pedestrian, a man, was struck by a car.
Following it, he was rushed to hospital for treatment. At the moment, the condition of the man is unknown.
From investigations so far, officers are treating the incident as "targeted" and said there is no threat to the wider public.
An extensive probe into the incident remains ongoing. The force also said a police presence will remain in the area and has encouraged anyone with concerns or information to speak to officers.
Ashgill Road was shut at its junction with Ashgill Place and Berenray Street during the disturbance.
Glasgow City Council said the road was closed at 8pm. It reopened at around 7am on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2779 of June 23, 2025."
