A 21-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after a car and bike crashed.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene of Freshfield Road in Formby at around 6pm on Thursday, November 4 to reports of a crash.
Once at the scene Merseyside Police found a Vauxhall Astra and a cyclist had been involved in a crash.

The cyclist, a 21-year-old man, has a suspected femur fracture and has been rushed to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
The driver of the Vauxhall Astra is unhurt and stopped at the scene.
They are assisting police with enquiries.
Pictures show a police van and multiple cars at the scene of the crash.
According to AA sensors in the area traffic is coping well.
