Man, 20s, rushed to hospital following horrific overnight knife attack at Hogan Place, Dublin 2

A man in his 20s has been hospitalised after a knife attack in Dublin city centre which took place in the early hours of this morning.

The stabbing occurred at Hogan Place, Dublin 2 just before 1am and emergency services rushed the man to St. Vincent's Hospital where his injuries are said to be minor.

An ongoing investigation has been launched by gardai but no arrests have been made yet.

"A male in his twenties was taken to St Vincents hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."

A spokesman for the Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Hogan Place, Dublin 2, at approximately 12:50am this morning, Saturday 27 of July.
