A man was rushed to hospital during the early hours of Monday morning after a stabbing incident in Co Louth.
Gardai say that the man, who is aged in his 20s, was stabbed during an incident at a house in the Rowan Heights area of Drogheda at around 7:40am on Monday.
His injuries are described as serious but non-life threatening.
In a statement, a garda spokeswoman said: "A man in his 20s received stab injuries to his neck following an altercation with another male.

"An ambulance attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
"No arrests have been made.
"Investigations are continuing."
