Man, 20s, rushed to hospital after late-night stabbing in Dublin city centre

A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after a horror late-night knife attack in Dublin city centre.

The stabbing took place in the early hours of yesterday morning at Hogan Place, Dublin 2.

The victim was brought to St Vincent's Hospital where his injuries are said to be minor, Dublin Live reports.

Gardai confirmed an investigation has been launched but no arrests have yet been made.

A spokesman for the Gardai said: "Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Hogan Place, Dublin 2, at approximately 12:50am this morning, Saturday 27 of July.

"A male in his twenties was taken to St Vincents hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
