There was €30,000 in cash along with cocaine and cannabis seized during the search of a Dublin house on Thursday.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene in Tallaght after the drugs worth over €4,200 were found.
He was held at Tallaght garda station following the arrest and is expected to appear before court next month charged in connection.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí investigating the sale and supply of illegal drugs in the Tallaght area carried out a search of a house in the Cushlawn Park area of Tallaght on 20/08/2020.
"Cocaine worth €2,800 and Cannabis worth €1,440 were discovered and seized during the search. €30,000 in cash was also seized on suspicion of being the proceeds of crime. Local Gardaí will liaise with the Criminal Assets Bureau in this regard. All drugs seized are subject to analysis.
"A man, aged in 20s, was arrested at the scene. He was detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. He has since been charged in relation to this incident and is due to appear before Tallaght District Court on the morning of 07/09/2020."
