Gardai have arrested a man in Dublin and seized over €30,000 worth of drugs.
The cannabis was found in Lucan on Friday when officers searched a house in Esker Lodge.
During the course of the search Gardaí seized 1.5kg of cannabis with an estimated street value of €31,000.
The man, in his early 20s, has since been released from custody and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A statement said: “Gardaí attached to Lucan and Ronanstown Garda Station, executed a search warrant at a house in Esker Lodge, Lucan.

“A man (early 20s) was arrested at the scene and taken to Ronanstown Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
“He has since been released from custody and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.”
