A man has been arrested after gardai seized a whopping haul of suspected cocaine in Dundalk, Co Louth.
Gardai initially stopped and searched the man, aged in his 20s, in the Muirhevnamore area of Dundalk on Sunday and found suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €2,000.
He was subsequently arrested and taken to Dundalk Garda Station.
Officers then carried out further searches following his arrest and discovered more suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €31,500.
The man was subsequently charged in connection with the seizure and appeared before Ardee District Court on Monday morning.
