Man, 20, suffers major injuries after falling from second floor window

A man has suffered "major-trauma related injuries" after falling from a second floor window.

Emergency services including air ambulance teams were called to Eleanor Road in Bidston around 6.15pm yesterday (July 28).

Merseyside Police said they were called after reports of concern for safety of a man in his 20s who is believed to have fallen from the second floor window of a property.

Air ambulance medical teams landed on a field nearby to assist paramedics.

North West Ambulance Service said the man "suffered major-trauma injuries" as a result of the fall and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We were called to reports of concern for safety of a male who is believed to have fallen from the second floor window of a property on Eleanor Road at around 6.15pm yesterday.

"The male, in his 20s, was taken to hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
