Man, 20, missing from Paisley for over a week with only 'small sum of money'

Police are searching for a man who has been missing for more than a week with only a 'small sum of money'.

Altjohn Cobo was last seen in the Christie Street area of Paisley on Wednesday, March 31, and was reported missing on Friday, April 9.

The 20-year-old speaks with broken English and doesn't know the area very well, raising concerns for his welfare.

Altjohn is described as around 5tf 10ins, of medium build with short brown hair. It's not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Sergeant Malcolm Clark said: "Altjohn speaks in broken English and does not know the area very well, therefore as time passes, our concern for his welfare grows.

“We know he has a small sum of money in his possession but there is no indication that he would try to travel anywhere outwith the area, we are working with travel companies to rule this out, however.

“We urge you to think back, have you seen him anywhere in the past week or so? Any information may be able to help us find him.

“Altjohn, if you see this, please get in touch with Police and let us know you are okay.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1180 of the Friday 9 April 2021."
