A 20-year-old man has been charged following an incident involving a shotgun in the Horfield area of Bristol.
Jamal McBean, of no fixed address, has been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident in Montreal Avenue at about 8.30am on Thursday, September 3.
Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: "We’ve charged a 20-year-old man in connection with an incident in which a shotgun was discharged in Horfield, Bristol.
"Jamal McBean, of no fixed address, has also been charged with affray and possession of a bladed article."
The police force said McBean remains in police custody.
The statement added he would appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, September 8).
